هدف البحث الحالي إلي قياس السيكلوثيميا لدي طالبات جامعة الفيوم في ضوء متغيري التخصص, محل الإقامة, وتراوحت أعمارهم ما بين 18-20 عاماً, واستخدم البحث مقياس السيكلوثيميا (إعداد هبة حسين إسماعيل), وأسفرت نتائج التحليل الإحصائي للبيانات عن تمتع طالبات الجامعة قيد الدراسة بمستوى مرتفع في البُعدين والدرجة الكلية لمتغير إضطراب المزاج الدوري ‏(السيكولوثيميا)‏, تمتع طالبات الجامعة بالكليات النظرية والعملية بمستوى مرتفع في البُعدين والدرجة الكلية لمتغير إضطراب المزاج الدوري ‏(السيكولوثيميا)‏، بإستثناء طالبات الكليات العملية اللاتي يتمتعن بمستوى منخفض من (الهوس الخفيف), تمتع طالبات الجامعة بالريف والحضر بمستوى مرتفع في البُعدين والدرجة الكلية لمتغير إضطراب المزاج الدوري ‏(السيكولوثيميا), أنه توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى (0.05) بين متوسطي درجات طالبات الجامعة في بُعد (الهوس الخفيف) كأحد أبعاد مقياس إضطراب المزاج الدوري وفقاً لمتغير التخصص، وذلك لصالح متوسط درجات طالبات الكليات العملية ، بينما لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطي درجات طالبات الجامعة في كل من بُعد (الإكتئاب) والدرجة الكلية لمقياس إضطراب المزاج الدوري قيد الدراسة, لا توجد فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطي درجات طالبات الجامعة في البُعدين (الإكتئاب ، الهوس الخفيف) والدرجة الكلية لمقياس إضطراب المزاج الدوري وفقاً لمتغير محل الإقامة.

The current research aimed to measure cyclothymic among Fayoum University students in light of the variables of specialization, place of residence, and their ages ranged between 18-20 years. The two dimensions and the total degree of the cyclothymic variable, university students in theoretical and practical colleges had a high level in the two dimensions and the total degree of the cyclothymic variable, with the exception of college students who had a low level of hypomania. The university students in rural and urban areas have a high level in the two dimensions and the total score of the periodic mood disorder variable (cyclothymic), that there are statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of university students in the dimension (hypomania) as one of the dimensions of the periodic mood disorder scale according to the specialization variable, And this is in favor of the average scores of female students of practical colleges, while there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of university students in both the dimension (depression) and the total score of the scale. Q Cyclothymic Mood Disorder Under study, there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of university students in the two dimensions (depression, hypomania) and the total score of the cyclic mood disorder scale according to the variable of residence.
