هدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على فاعلية وحدة مقترحة فى جغرافيا الأمراض لتنمية الوعي الوقائي لدى طلاب الصف الأول الثانوى، وتكونت عينة البحث من مجموعة من طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي بمدرسة الغرق الثانوية بإدارة اطسا التعليمية بمحافظة الفيوم، ويبلغ عددهم 39 طالبا، وتمثلت أدوات البحث في الوحدة المقترحة في جغرافيا الأمراض، ومقياس الوعي الوقائي، وتم تدريس الوحدة المقترحة للطلاب مجموعة البحث خلال الفصل الدراسى الأول للعام الدراسي 2022/2023، وطبقت أداة مقياس الوعي الوقائي قبليا وبعديا، وأشارت نتائج البحث إلي وجود فرق ذي دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات طلاب مجموعة البحث في التطبيق القبلى والبعدى لمقياس الوعي الوقائي لصالح التطبيق البعدي، وقد اوصي البحث بـما يلي:

الاهتمام بجغرافيا الأمراض والعمل على تضمينها في مناهج الجغرافيا بمختلف المراحل التعليمية.
الاهتمام بالوعي الوقائي بمناهج التعليم الثانوي، أو في وحدات خاصة تتكامل مع بقية المحتوي.

Research Abstract:
This research aimed to find out how well a proposed unit on the geography of diseases helps first-year high school students become more aware of how to stay healthy. Research sample consisted of A group of first-year high school students Al-Gharq Secondary School, Atsa Educational Administration, Fayoum Governorate, numbered 39 students. Therefor, the research instrments represented in proposed unit on the geography of diseases which had been taught to the students during first semester in the academic year 2022/2023. As a consicuence, reasurch results showed that there is statistically significant difference between the average scores of the students in the pre and post preventive awareness test in favor of the post test.
The research recommedations:

Paying attention to the geography of diseases and working to include it in greography curriculum for all educational levels.
Enhancing concern of the preventive awareness measure in the high school education curricula independently or in special units linked with the rest of the content.
