استهدف البحث الحالية إلى معرفة فاعلية استراتيجية k.w.l في تنمية بعض مهارات الفهم   الاستماعي لدى تلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية.
  وقد تمَّ ذلك من خلال إعداد الإطار النظري الخاص بمحوري استراتيجية k.w.l والفهم الاستماعي، كما تناول البحث خطوات إعداد أدوات البحث في ضوء الإطار النظري السابق، والتي تمَّثَّلت في: قائمة مهارات الفهم الاستماعي، واستراتيجية k.w.l لتنمية مهارات الفهم الاستماعي.
تمَّ تطبيق هذه الأدوات قبليًا على عينة البحث البالغ عددهم(60) مقسمة على مجموعتين: التجريبية والضابطة بواقع(30تلميذ) لكل مجموعة، ثمَّ تدريس الاستراتيجية المقترحة لتلاميذ المجموعة التجريبية، ثمَّ تطبيق هذه الأدوات بعديًا، ثمَّ إجراء المعالجة الإحصائية للبيانات التي تمَّ التوصل إليها، والتوصل إلى مجموعة من النتائج، ثمَّ تفسير تلك النتائج في ضوء فروض البحث.
وقد تمَّ التوصل إلى: وجود فروق لها دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطات درجات طلاب المجموعة التجريبية التي درست باستخدام استراتيجية k.w.l في التطبيق البعدي لأدوات القياس .
مما يشير إلى الأثر الإيجابي لهذه الاستراتيجية. وفي ضوء ما تمَّ التوصل إليه من نتائج ؛ خرج البحث بمجموعة من التوصيات، والبحوث المقترحة .
Summary
The current research aimed to know the effectiveness of the k.w.l strategy in developing some listening comprehension skills for preparatory stage students.
This was done by preparing the theoretical framework for the axes of the k.w.l strategy and listening comprehension. The research also dealt with the steps of preparing the research tools in light of the previous theoretical framework, which were: a list of listening comprehension skills, and the k.w.l strategy for developing listening comprehension skills.
These tools were applied in advance to the research sample of (60) divided into two groups: experimental and control, with (30 students) for each group, then teaching the proposed strategy to the students of the experimental group, then applying these tools afterwards, then conducting statistical treatment of the data that was reached, And reaching a set of results, then interpreting those results in the light of the research hypotheses.
It was found: There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group students who were studied using the k.w.l strategy in the post application of the measurement tools.
This indicates the positive impact of this strategy. In light of the results that have been reached; The research came out with a set of recommendations, and suggested research
