The aim of the research is to identify the professional development of members of the school administration, its requirements, the direction of competencies in professional development, and to stand on the reality of preparing professional development programs in light of the direction of competencies in professional development from the viewpoint of the research sample, in order to determine the requirements for preparing professional development programs, the research adopted the descriptive approach to its relevance to the nature and objectives of the research, and in its field management it adopted the application of a questionnaire directed to members of the school administration (principals - agents) in pre-university education, and the study found that the reality of preparing development programs The professionalism of school administration members depending on the competencies to be strengthened for this category from the point of view of school principals and agents is medium as the average 2.21, and the average percentage weight 73.50%, and proposals were made to activate it, the most important is the need to rely on self-learning so that the learner has the burden of research, the need to pay attention to the development of cognitive competencies with the knowledge and basics of scientific research, and the ability to use its methods and tools, considering the knowledge, skills, and cultural needs of the trainees when setting the general objectives.
