Abstract
The study aimed at proposing techniques for enhancing social capital management among faculty members at Al-Azhar University. To achieve the aim of this study, the researchers adopted the descriptive approach and developed a questionnaire for identifying the current state of social capital management and its obstacles among faculty members at Al-Azhar University colleges. It was administered to a sample of (469) participants, that equals (8.9%) of the total number of faculty members at Al-Azhar University colleges. The findings of the study indicated that; the availability degree of social capital management as perceived by faculty members on the whole degree was weak, in a relative weight of (1.50) and a percentage of (50.1%), based on 3-point Likert scale, while the degree of agreement on the obstacles of social capital management as perceived by faculty members was high, in a relative weight of (2.44). Based on the findings of the study, the researchers proposed some techniques for enhancing social capital management among Al-Azhar University colleges according to the following axes: (planning of social capital, organizing of social capital, directing and evaluating of social capital), in addition to identifying some of the obstacles of social capital management and ways to overcome them.
