Abstract:
The research aimed to identify the reality of social responsibility in light of the strategic vigilance of the faculties of education in Egypt keeping up with the emerging Corona virus pandemic, and to develop some mechanisms to improve the dimensions of social responsibility (academic - administrative - social - environmental -healthy - economic) dimensions in light of the strategic vigilance dimensions(technological- competitive - documentary - environmental - Social).The research used the descriptive approach .In addition ,it relied on a questionnaire as a tool to collect data, which was applied to a sample of faculty members in some faculties of education. Results: the dimensions of social responsibility in light of the strategic vigilance of the faculties of education used to keep up with the emerging Corona virus pandemic are achieved in a moderate way from the viewpoint of the study sample. Moreover, the results of the analysis of variance test for the significance of differences on the axes of the questionnaire of the sample as a whole showed that: there are no statistically significant differences between the responses of faculty members to the questionnaire axes according to university variable, but there are statistically significant differences between the responses of faculty members to some axes of the questionnaire according to the variables of job degree and years of experience. The research also reached a set of proposed mechanisms to develop the dimensions of social responsibility for faculties of education to keep up with the Corona pandemic in light of the strategic vigilance approach .
