The current study aims to identify the social image as a mediator variable between academic alienation and the cognitive flourishing among university students. The current study used the descriptive approach, the correlational and comparative approach, and using path analysis method. The sample consisted of 417 students in the New Valley University, in the second semester of the academic year 2020-2021, applied to them the Scales of social image, Academic Alienation, cognitive flourishing (The three Scales are prepared by the researcher). The main results of the study indicated that:
- There is a large level of social image among the study sample.
- There is a weak level of academic alienation among the study sample.
- There is an average level of cognitive flourishing for the study sample.
- There are no statistically significant differences in Social image, Academic alienation, and cognitive flourishing, according to the gender variable (male- female).
- Social image is a mediator variable (Partial mediation) in the relationship between the dimensions of the Academic Alienation and cognitive flourishing.
