The effectiveness of using language games; to develop skills: listening, speaking, and developing awareness of peace concepts for kindergarten children.
Abstract
The study aimed to verify the effectiveness of language games in developing skills: listening, speaking, which are: Distinguishing words that have the same rhyme phonetically, the ability to pronounce Arabic sounds correctly, choose vocabulary carefully, display thoughts and their sequence, use expressive gestures and gestures, and some concepts of "peace." And represented in: tolerance, consultation, listening, respect for others, self-respect among kindergarten children.
To achieve the aims of the study; Use the experimental approach. The two groups: the experimental and the control, and the study sample consisted of (30) children, and in achieving its objectives, it was based on skill tests: listening, speaking, peace concepts test, and the teacher's guide based on language games. The results of the study - after analyzing its data statistically - summarized the effectiveness of using language games in developing my skills: listening, speaking and awareness of concepts of peace. In kindergarten children, compared to the usual method there are also statistically significant differences at the level of significance (0.05) between the mean scores of the experimental and control group in favor of the mean scores of the experimental group. The results of the study highlighted a number of recommendations; most importantly: Training Arabic language teachers to use language games in teaching my skills: listening, speaking, and instilling awareness of some concepts of peace.
