Consequently, the Egyptians' ideas of identity and belonging become unstable, Egyptians belong to their land and history based on the historical overlap of these factors and the precedence of what one of them achieves over other factors in a particular time period.
Accordingly, the problem of the current study is an attempt to search for factors that contribute to fueling sectarianism between the two elements of the nation based on the concept of recognition. This requires disclosing the circles of belonging to the study sample and the site occupied by the national department among them. As well as showing the levels of belonging and pluralism, As well as revealing the knowledge and feelings that each party holds towards the other, As well as the behaviors that each of them practice in dealing with the other, As well as trying to show the impact of some demographic and social variables (religion - educational level - Place of residence - income - gender - age) on the levels of belonging and pluralism. As well as knowledge, positive feelings and behaviors towards the other.
Based on that, the most important factors that contribute to fueling sectarianism between the two elements of the nation are as follows: Illegal emotional relations between the two genders (Christians and Muslims), political disputes based on religious fanaticism, building houses of worship, normal differences between the two parties in economic fields and daily routine dealings, class differences, external interventions to sow discord and sectarianism, geographical distribution and the activity of the Islamist current.
