The partnership between educational research institutions and the Ministry of Education in making educational policy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Abstract:
The study aimed to identify the requirements of partnership between educational research institutions in universities and the Ministry of Education in making educational policy in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the obstacles to partnership between them. The study used the descriptive survey approach and a questionnaire to collect data consisting of (39) statements distributed on two axes: the first: the requirements for partnership and the second: the obstacles to partnership between educational research institutions and the Ministry of Education in making educational policy. It includes three areas (research obstacles - technical and administrative obstacles - organizational obstacles) and consists of (28) phrases. The sample of the respondent study consisted of (413) individuals distributed over educational research institutions in Saudi universities and the Ministry of Education. The study resulted in a set of results, the most prominent of which is that the study individuals were in strong agreement with the requirements for achieving the partnership between educational research institutions in universities and the Ministry of Education in making educational policy. The results of the study also revealed that the study individuals were in agreement with the obstacles to achieving the partnership between educational research institutions in universities and the Ministry of Education in making educational policy, where the field of research obstacles came first, followed by the field of administrative and technical obstacles in the second order, and the area of organizational obstacles in the third place.
