Determining Occupational Needs of Faculty Staff in Centers of Ability and Leadership Development in Egyptian Universities in the Backdrop of Certain Current Variables and Repercussions of Corona Virus

Abstract
The purpose of the current study was to determine faculty staff needs as per occupational development in staff-members and Minia-university leaders development centre as well as procedures adopted to render such a task. The study also probed into the status quo of staff as per their occupational development which may be rendered real via Staff-Members Development Centre in Minia University in the backdrop of certain current variables as well as repercussions of Covid 19 from the point of view of staff members. The researcher utilized the descriptive method via administering two questionnaires to 12 staff members in the centre in addition to 372 ones in the university in order to pinpoint such a staus quo.
Statistical analyses of the data revealed that there is some kind of evident shortage in the fulfillment of the centre's mission as for determining staff members' needs as to occupational development amidst such recurrent changes in a way that makes it necessary to adhere to such procedures and skills of determining needs as a basis for the success of such a centre in achieving it targets. Moreover, the researcher found out that there is a tangent need that staff members aspire for via the activities and services of the centre in the domain of teaching, research and community service especially in light of certain current variables as well as repercussions of Covid 19.
The researcher furthered some recommendations and suggestions for further research as for such types of centres in order to activate their role in determining staff-members' needs as per occupational development necessary herein as well as the procedures adopted to render the task taking into consideration the results of the field and evaluative study included.
