Mechanisms for activating the role of youth welfare departments at faculties of Fayoum University in enhancing the intellectual security of their students

Intellectual security is one of the most important types of security as it comes on the list of priorities as it realizes stability and the security of societies, and because of its strong link with protecting the nation’s identity, culture and thought in the face of the threat of cultural invasion.
As well as the basis for achieving intellectual security is the concerted efforts of all official and civil society institutions to enhance it in general, educational institutions and universities in particular, and the Departments of Youth Welfare at Fayoum University are considered one of the important departments in our contemporary world as they work to prepare human forces for society equipped with all the different experiences, and guide directed activities are under the supervision of specialists, and the research problem can be formulated in the following main question: How can the role of youth welfare departments be activated in the faculties of Fayoum University in enhancing the intellectual security of their students? The importance of the research is due to the importance of intellectual security, which is one of the most important aspects of national security because it is interested in preserving identity, as it is a necessity for freedom and democracy as a prerequisite for launching creative and constructive thought. The objectives of the research can be defined whereas it seeks to identify the reality of the role of the Youth Welfare Department in Faculties of Fayoum University in enhancing the intellectual security for students from the viewpoint of students, the faculty members, specialists and administrators working in youth welfare departments in Faculties of Fayoum University.
This research depends on the descriptive approach because this approach entails monitoring the reality, and the subsequent analysis and interpretation of this reality based on studies and research and Among the most important findings of the research is the existence of a set of obstacles that may hinder the activation the role of youth welfare departments at faculties of Fayoum University in enhancing the intellectual security of their students, including the lack of sufficient information about intellectual security in the college’s youth welfare departments, the lack of training programs for specialists in youth welfare departments about Mechanisms to enhance intellectual security among university students, and at the end of the research, proposed mechanisms were formulated to activate the role of youth welfare departments in Fayoum University colleges in enhancing the intellectual security of their students .
