Educational Activities in Home Economics Based on Design Thinking to Develop Dimensions of Family Security and Skills to Face Life Stress of Girls in Care Homes
Abstract:
The aim of this research is to develop the dimensions of family security and life stress skills for girls in care homes from the age of (18-24) in Al MABARAH HOUSE belonging to Ministry of Social Affairs through the implementation of activities in home economics based on design thinking, and the number of girls in the research sample was (30) girls Experimental sample; Where the research relied on the experimental design with one group.
The research tools also included a scale to measure the dimensions of family security among girls, the research sample (prepared by the researcher), and an attitude test to measure the extent of the growth of skills to face life pressures among girls, the research sample (researcher preparation).
The results of the research resulted in the existence of statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the two applications, pre and post application, in favor of the post application, in both the measure of family security, and the test of stress management attitudes of girls in the research sample. The results also resulted in a correlation between family security and facing stress of life skills.
